Podium Pitches are intended to allow Patrons and Exhibitors to give a technical, non-commercial, presentation on a topic of their choice, fitting the area of the conference, under a unified theme. A podium pitch is a 10-minutes’ talk during a coffee break in the exhibition hall, which emphasizes on recent topics of technical and business issues in communications and networking of particular interests to the community
STRUCTURE
A Podium Pitch should be given by a Speaker noimated by a Patron or Exhibitor.
DURATION
A Podium Pitch should extend for 10 minutes and will be shared with pitches from other Patrons and Exhibitors in a Session. Podium Pitches Sessions take place during conference breaks, which lasts= about 30 minutes.
SESSION FORMAT
The conference is aimed at in-person attendance, hence, Speakers at Podium Pitches Sessions are expected to participate in person as well.
Podium Pitches Sessions are held in the room used for Exhibitions and coffee-breaks.
Presentations should be uploaded to a local computer prior to the beginning of the session, being given live at the session.
PREPARATION OF INDUSTRY PODIUM PITCH PROPOSALS
The length of each proposal should not exceed 3 pages in total, and a proposal should include:
1. Title of the presentation.
2. Name, affiliation, contact information of the presenter.
3. Motivation and scope of the presentation.
4. If appropriate, a description of past Industry Podium Pitch (or podium presentations, lighting talks) organized by the proposer, including number of attendees, etc.
5. Biography of the presenter.
