Session Description:

Are you interested in inspiring the next generation of communication engineers?  Would you like to learn more about how to get started with Pre-University STEM educational activities for school-age students?  Or do you already have experience and are looking for new ideas or to share what’s working best for you?  If you answered “YES!” to any of these questions, we invite you to join us for this special session.  In the first half of the session you will learn about what ComSoc is doing in the area of Pre-University STEM Education, get information from the TryEngineering.org program about how to get started and best practices for your activities.  In the second part of the session, you will have the opportunity to sample some hands-on activities that can be done with children and walk away with instructions on how to do them on your own.  You will also have the chance to talk with other attendees and pick up some ComSoc Pre-University swag items.  We hope you can join us for this exciting event!
